Professional Diploma - Educational Leadership - Manhattanville

The Westchester Institute for Teachers offers a program for teachers in Educational Leadership with Manhattanville College. This 30-credit program offers teachers a Professional Diploma in School Building Leadership which will lead to initial/professional certification as a school building leader. Teachers will have the option, through the Westchester Institute for Teachers, of taking an additional 6 credits, which will lead to a Master's Degree. Manhattanville is an NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education) institution. This designation signifies that it meets the highest standards for quality teacher education programs. Only teacher education programs meeting these high standards qualify for the NCATE desgination.
